Additional comments This is a TV show that Mark Knopfler did to promote his new album The ragpicker's dream. The show is hosted by Marc Klein Essink. Since the show was recorded and broadcasted on the 5th December, Saint Nicholas was there. A pretty silly show, but nice to see Mark doing two songs, including Hill farmer's blues which was a real surprise. The band: Bobby Valentino, Robbie McIntosh, Danny Cummings, Marcus Cliffe and Geraint Watkins. Unfortunately, only the vocals of Mark are live. There is a pretty annoying echo on his voice during Hill farmer's blues, I guess some technician was sleeping... Anyway, a short but good appearance of Mark. Total playing time is about 12 minutes.
