Additional comments DVD-Video containing a live recording of the fifth showcase that Mark Knopfler did to promote his new album Kill to get Crimson. After Berlin, Madrid, Amsterdam, and London, the AVO Session Basel has the honour of being his host festival. On 15th December, Swiss TV station SF Zwei broadcasted most of this special showcase. The station 3Sat also broadcasted most of the show, but that broadcasted did not include Song for Sonny Liston. Since the 3Sat broadcast was of better quality, this DVD is a mixture of both broadcasts. Song for Sonny Liston is taken from the SF Zwei broadcast, the rest of the songs are from the great looking 3Sat broadcast. As a bonus, two promo appearances are included which Mark Knopfler made on British TV to promote the Kill to get Crimson album. Both were broadcast on 21st November 2007. The first is for GMTV, which features a small interview and Mark Knopfler plays Punish the monkey (only vocals live). The second is a nice interview from Channel 5 News.
