Soundboard recording of the
third showcase that Mark Knopfler did to promote his new album Kill to
get Crimson. Tickets for this showcase could not be bought, only be won
with the Radio 2 competitions on the radio and the internet. Thousands of
fans participated on these competitions, but only 300 lucky people actually
won and were invited to be present at this special promotional show. Great
to see that most of the Dutch die hard fans actually managed to get a seat
inside the Melkweg theatre! The show was recorded for Radio 2 and
broadcasted on 2nd November 2007. This CD features a great sounding
recording of this soundboard stereo broadcast. The only song that was not
broadcasted was Our Shangri-La, so I added the audience recording of
that song as a bonus to make the concert complete.
