Additional comments | DVD-Video containing three interviews that Mark Knopfler did in Finland to promote his new album Sailing to Philadelphia. On the Joonas Hytönen Show there is a house band, Lenni-Kalle Taipale Quartet, who play a very interesting version of Sultans of swing. Great to see Mark's reaction when they begin to play! Also, Joonas Hytönen asks Mark a few questions that are not the most common ones, like who is the girl in the Money for nothing video clip and did you meet Madonna in Notting Hill? A nice show, recorded on 8th December 2000. I don't know the recording dates of the other two interviews, but it must have been in December 2000 since the promotion tour ended that month. Good picture and sound quality on all tracks. As a bonus, the press kits from Sailing to Philadelphia and The ragpicker's dream are added. Both press kits have Finnish subtitles. Total playing time is about 64 minutes. |
