Additional comments | DVD-Video containing the two parts of the Live Aid 1985 documentary, broadcasted on BBC television. A very interesting documentary which shows how the concert was organized, interviews with some of the artists, managers, TV producers, promoters, and of course a long interview with organizer Bob Geldof. The day of the concert, 13th July 1985, Dire Straits played at the Live Aid concert in Wembley Stadium and one hour later in Wembley Arena for their own show which was part of their Brothers in arms world tour. Ed Bicknell and Mark Knopfler are also shortly interviewed about this historical day and of course there is attention for the Dire Straits performance. I created a simple menu which makes it possible to jump quickly to these particular parts. Great documentary with perfect picture and sound quality. |
