The Studio Albums 2009-2018 box set features Mark Knopfler’s latest four studio releases, plus a collection of studio B-sides, bonus tracks, and two previously unreleased songs; Back in the day and Precious voice from heaven. Also including some bonus tracks that were never released before on physical format; Your perfect song, Early bird, Time in the sun - which was previously only available on the rare promo LP BMG proudly presents: Mark Knopfler. Another nice thing is that the LP's Get lucky, Tracker and Down the road wherever are also different from their original pressing as they feature bonus tracks from these releases on side B of the second LP.

The audio for the collection has been overseen by the original mastering engineer, Bob Ludwig, at Gateway Mastering, with vinyl cut by Bernie Grundman. The box also includes five embossed art prints of each of the album covers:
