Additional comments | The movie was originally released in 1989. During one part of this movie, Weird Al Yankovic plays a parody version of Mark Knopfler's song Money for nothing. Mark agreed that his song could be used, and also played guitar on this track himself! So, especially for this parody version, Mark went back into the studio and played the famous guitar riff again. That was about four years after the release of the Brothers in arms album, so it sounds slightly different, but of course still has that very distinctive Knopfler sound. Picture disc. |
