Additional comments In celebration of Record Store Day on 20th April 2024, Mark Knopfler released a special EP of original songs titled The Boy. Mark was captivated by the travelling funfair he would frequent visit in his youth, held every year on Newcastle Town Moor. The songs on this new release connect themes of the fairgrounds and their boxing booths, commonplace in the Britain of the 50s and early 60s. In total, just 3000 copies were made worldwide.
