Additional comments DVD-Video featuring volume 9 of a large DVD project compiled by a Spanish fan. The compilation project contains TV appearances of Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler, except for broadcasted concerts. The DVD's are devided in several sections. This volume is dedicated to Mark Knopfler's solo promo material for Sailing to Philadelphia and The ragpicker's dream. The picture quality is good on most tracks. The TROS TV show features an interview and a version of What is is (only vocals live). The Glove TV show features a funny interview and What is is (only vocals live). Picture quality is less good, looks a bit like a recording from internet. On the Jay Leno, Mark performed a full live version of What it is. The GMTV show from 2000 features an interview and a playback version of What it is. And what a surprise on the Craig Kilburn Show: a great full live version of Baloney again! The Italian Music Awards features a version of Why aye man (only vocals live). The on Morandi´s TV Show, the host forgot the title of the songs Mark was going to play (Why aye man) and even announced him as "Mike Knopfler" Very well prepared, haha! The final track features a nice interview with Mark Knopfler and Jimmy Nail, followed by a playback verion of Why aye man.
