In September 2000, Ed Bicknell donated various Dire Straits awards and other rare items for a charity auction. The auction was held on the homepage of Mark Knopfler News and closed on 30th September. Ed gave all the money he made from this auction to the charity. I was one of the lucky winning bidders and I won the Brothers in Arms platinum award from Israel which I received on 27th October 2000.
