Brothers in Arms CD-booklet
In February 1994, Mark Knopfler signed my Brothers in arms CD booklet
with a personal note. Since it was signed with a silver pen, the effect is very
nice when you look over the booklet at a certain angle.
Brothers in Arms
photo book
Official photo book for the Brothers in arms world tour 1985 / 1986. It is in
fact the same as the normal 1985 edition of the tourbook, but without the pages
with dates from previous concerts, promo add for Philips Compact Disc, promo add
for Alchemy video and the merchandise page. The version I have is signed in
1985 by Dire Straits: Mark Knopfler, John Illsley, Alan Clark, Guy Fletcher, Terry Williams
and Chris White. Only Jack Sonni's autograph is missing.

Band photo On Every Street
As a former member of D.S.I.S.
(Dire Straits Information Service), I was happy to see that the newsletter from
November 1992 featured a charity auction in which you could bid on various
interesting items. All proceeds were going to the Elton John Aids Foundation and
the Terrence Higgens Trust. In January 1993, I received a notification of a
successful bid and shortly after that I received the band photo, signed by all
Dire Straits members of the On every street tour: Mark Knopfler, John Illsley, Alan
Clark, Guy Fletcher, Phil Palmer, Chris White, Danny Cummings, Paul Franklin and
Chris Whitten. The photo was taken in September
1991 by Paul Cox.

nights, Mark Knopfler signed my magazine backstage after the concert.

On 4th June 2001, I was in London for a concert at the

Mark Knopfler just before the soundcheck that afternoon (see also the meeting-section). It was very nice to meet Mark again who showed
up driving himself in his BMW 5-series. Mark was so kind to sign my Sailing to
