DAVID LETTERMAN 2002
CBS TV Studios, New York, USA, 13th November 2002.
Additional comments:
A home-made Video-CD featuring the The Late Show with David Letterman. This TV
show was part of the Ragpicker's Dream promotional tour. It must have been
wonderful for the studio audience and a big disappointment for TV viewers. Mark
Knopfler sat in with the band and they played his songs during commercial
breaks. TV viewers only got a few seconds of each song. They played: 1st break -
Money For Nothing (Gibson), 2nd break - Walk of Life (red Strat), 3rd break -
Going Home (red Strat), 4th break - Sultans of Swing (red Strat--triple
break--very long!), 5th break - Daddy's gone to Knoxville (red Strat). So, Mark
will only be seen shortly on this whole VCD, but at least he's there! This VCD
features the complete broadcast of the show. Available
on one CD-R.
Video-CD's can be played on DVD players or normal CD-ROM players using Windows Media Player. I can play this Video-CD on my external Sony DVD player (DVP-NS705V) without any problem. Note however that some DVD players have problems with Video-CD's. So I can only guarantee that they work on your PC CD-ROM drive!
