OLD GREY WISTLE TEST 1978

A home-made Video-CD containing the Old Grey Wistle Test from 1978. On this television broadcast, Dire Straits played Sultans of Swing and Lions. Only Sultans of Swing can be found on this VCD. The sound and picture quality is pretty good. Recorded in a TV Studio in Manchester, UK on 15th May 1978, so one of the first television broadcasts of Dire Straits ever. Available on one CD-R.

 

Video-CD's can be played on DVD players or normal CD-ROM players using Windows Media Player. I can play this Video-CD on my external Sony DVD player (DVP-NS705V) without any problem. Note however that some DVD players have problems with Video-CD's. So I can only guarantee that they work on your PC CD-ROM drive!
