Additional comments This is a very nice radio show that Mark Knopfler did to promote his new album The ragpicker's dream. It was part of the DRS3 Country Special, broadcasted on the 22nd October 2002. The shows opens with a DJ talking in Swiss/German welcoming listeners to DRS3 followed by Mark welcoming listeners as well. It's basically a compilation of country tracks that Mark Knopfler played on. The highlight of the show however is the exclusive mini concert that Mark and band gave live in the radio studio. One of the best promo concerts of The ragpicker's dream I have heard so far. Mark was in a very good mood and giving some explanation at the songs. The audience of just 200 people was very quiet and polite. Total CD length is about 56 minutes. For some material that was not broadcasted on the radio, see this recording: DRS 3 - Behind the scenes.
