PARIS 1992 - THE VIDEO
DISC ONE: 1. Calling Elvis |
DISC TWO: 1. Telegraph road |
Palais Omnisports De Bercy, Paris, France, 28th and 29th April 1992.
Additional comments:
A home-made Video-CD featuring moments from
both the 28th and 29th April 1992. The sound is full of crackles all the time,
the picture quality is not sharp at most moments and there are various cuts in
the songs. The only thing that makes it interesting is that it contains one of
the rarely filmed versions of Iron Hand and unfortunately that one is cut too...
So, this is really an item for the die hard collectors. The last track on the
second disc shows some footage filmed inside the black Dire Straits bus and some
shots oustide the venue. Available on two CD-R's.
Video-CD's can be played on DVD players or normal CD-ROM players using Windows Media Player. I can play this Video-CD on my external Sony DVD player (DVP-NS705V) without any problem. Note however that some DVD players have problems with Video-CD's. So I can only guarantee that they work on your PC CD-ROM drive!
