Additional info Takamine is a Japanese guitar manufacturer, known for its steel-string guitars. The company was founded in May 1962 and in 1978 they were one of the first companies to introduce acoustic-electric models.


This picture of Mark Knopfler and Paddy Moloney is part of the (1995) CD booklet from The long black veil by The Chieftains. Mark's contribution on that album can be heard on The lily of the west. I suspect that the guitar that Mark is holding was used for that recording.
