BBC ARENA 1980 - THE VIDEO

Additional comments:
A very nice home-made Super Video-CD (SVCD). Taken from TV-documentary "Arena" on BBC2, recorded on 7th March 1980. Interviews with band members (oh yes, John Illsley with a beard!), Ed Bicknell talking a bit about platinum records and awards, explanations of some songs, Mark Knopfler reading the  lines of the never released song "Sucker for punishment", playing the song "Making Movies", various live stuff, etc. Really great with good image and for the French fans: it has French subtitles. Available on two CD-R's.

 

Video-CD's can be played on DVD players or normal CD-ROM players. This SVCD needs special software to watch on your PC. I can play this Super Video-CD on my external Sony DVD player (DVP-NS705V) without any problem. Note however that some DVD players have problems with Video-CD's / Super Video CD's. So I can only guarantee that they work on your PC CD-ROM drive!
