BROTHERS IN ARMS PRESSKIT
Additional comments:
A home-made Video-CD containing the Brothers in Arms presskit. It's a 45 minute
interview with Mark Knopfler about the Brothers in Arms record, new band
members, recording the record, touring, the sponsorship of Philips Compact Disc,
the costs of touring, Mark telling he prefers CD's above LP's and cassettes, the
benefits of CD's, the way Dire Straits concerts are organized, making videos and
various other interesting things. The sound quality is OK, but the picture
quality is pretty bad (flickering from colour to black & white and a bit
blurry). But the interview itself is interesting and different from all
the other pretty standard interviews. Available on one CD-R.
Video-CD's can be played on DVD players or normal CD-ROM players using Windows Media Player. I can NOT play this Video-CD on my external Sony DVD player (DVP-NS705V). So I can only guarantee that it works on your PC CD-ROM drive!
