Promotional CD-single for the album Knebworth -
The album. Charity concert in aid of the Nordoff-Robbis Music
Theraphy Centre for providing music theraphy for handicapped children and the
BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. For this historic event gathered
120.000 fans at Knebworth park. Mark Knopfler wrote a new song called I
think I love you too much of which it was still unsure if it would end up on
the next Dire Straits album. The version on the Knebworth show was the first ever public live performance
of that song. Eventually, the song did not make it on the new On every street
album. Mark Knopfler gave the song to Jeff Healey who recorded the song together
with Mark in the studio and ended up on Healey's album Hell to pay (1990). This
promotional CD-single is housed in a jewel case, issued without artwork. |
