Additional comments DVD-Video featuring volume 18 of a large DVD project compiled by a Spanish fan. The compilation project contains TV appearances of Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler, except for broadcasted concerts. The DVD's are devided in several sections. This volume is dedicated to the documentaries. The 2005 BBC documentary called "Brothers in arms" is as a documentary looking at brothers in rock. There are features on various bands including... Dire Straits; Mark and David Knopfler. There is archive footage of Dire Straits and new interviews with Ed Bicknell and David Knopfler. Also comments from Muff Winwood (Dire Straits producer) and Bob Harris (Old grey wistle test). Interesting material which goes back a long way in time and the problems between the Knopfler brothers during their early Dire Straits period. Picture and sound quality is excellent. The Sult documentary features various artists who play a song with the Irish band. Mark Knopfler plays On Raglan Road and also gives a short comment on the song. Nice version, Richard Bennett is in the band too. In between certain songs, Donal Lunny gives some comments. The actual recording is from 1997, but this version was recorded from television on 12th May 2005. Good picture and sound quality.
