Soundboard recording from one of
the biggest concerts of all time: Live Aid. Bands playing and giving their best
just to send the whole world one message: Feed the world! Probably the largest
charity concert to raise money for the starving people in Ethiopia. Dire Straits
was one of the bands that appeared that afternoon at Wembley Stadium and they
played just two songs: Money for nothing and Sultans of swing.
Dire Straits was only able to play in the afternoon as they were in the middle of the
Brothers in arms world tour had their own concert that evening at Wembley
Arena, just around the corner of Wembley Stadium. Including a very rare and
interesting backstage
interview with Mark Knopfler by Paul Gambaccini.
Taken from a professional picture disc CD-R edited
on only 10 limited edition copies (I have copy # 7). Sound quality of the
interview is OK, great sound quality on the two songs. |
