Additional comments

Very nice mix of the good audience recording (see also: Los Angeles 2001) and the Mark Knopfler In Ear Monitor (IEM) soundboard recording (see also: Los Angeles 2001 - In Ear Monitor). This IEM recording is incredible good but since it was used for Mark Knopfler on stage, you can mainly hear his voice and guitar loud on this recording while the other instruments are pretty low in the mix. The audience recording had good balance of all instruments but slightly muffled vocals. On this version, the two sources have been mixed which results in a very nice audience/soundboard mix of the full show. Great show including two guest musicians: Jackson Browne on Sailing to Philadelphia and Bonnie Raitt on Prairie wedding and Pyroman. Bonnie plays beautifully haunting slide guitar on Prairie wedding and sings a high vocal harmony in the chorus. After the song Mark says: "Stick around Bonnie, stick around." followed by Pyroman on which she also plays great slide guitar. Very interesting concert, complete setlist.
