Mark Knopfler received this guitar during the Down the road wherever tour at the concert in Berlin, 15th May 2019.
In an interview in Guitarist magazine (May 2024,
issue 510), Mark reveiled that he loved this Duesenberg guitar and that it
found its way on the new album One deep river.

In an interview in Guitarist magazine (May 2024,

actually bought two of them; the Gran Royale (see above) and a Caribou.
In the box-set of One deep river, there is a card featuring various of Mark's guitars. The picture on the left is taken from that card and is Mark's actual guitar. |
