Mark Knopfler and his guitars

This is a cutaway acoustic-electric guitar was designed by Jose Ramirez III in 1990. It has a built in bridge pick up which is adjustable for individual string tone and volume.

Mark used this guitar for Private investigations during the On every street tour 1991-1992. In 2004, Mark used this guitar again to record Postcards from Paraguay.
